A cementitous mixture for use in lining chimney flues, in situ includes pumice in aggregate form. The cement content of the mixture may be provided in the form of a sulphate resisting cement and the mixture may also include an air entraining agent and plasticizer and additionally a course building sand. A method of lining a chimney flue with the composition of the invention includes pumping the liquid mixture to surround a void former located in the chimney flue. |
