<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the steering feeling of a driver by setting a clutch mechanism to the connection state to connect an auxiliary torque generator and the second member when the relative rotation quantity of the first member on the input side against the second member on the output side reaches the preset value or above. CONSTITUTION:One end of a torsion bar 13 is connected to an input shaft 11 fitted with a steering handle at one end by a pin 15a, on the other hand the other end is connected to an output shaft 12 by a pin 15b, the other end side of the output shaft 12 is connected to a steering mechanism. In this case, a hexagon projection 12b with a hexagonal cross section is formed on the outer periphery of the output shaft 12, a hexagon hole section 11c is formed on the inner periphery of the input shaft 11. Three holes 11d are formed at a uniform interval on the hexagon hole section 11c of the input shaft 11, two rollers 22 are stored in each hole 11d respectively, a plate spring 33 is inserted between two rollers 22 to constitute the required clutch mechanism. This clutch mechanism is connected to a motor 24 via a reduction gear constituted of a gear 23a and a worm gear 25.</p> |
