The invention relates to a process for the preparation of composite material, comprising the introduction of fibrous material in a mould, closing the mould, injecting a thermosetting resin containing bismaleimide compound into the mould by applying a pressure differential, and allowing the resin to cure, characterized in that the mould has a temperature of 10-40 &curren& C and that the resin has a viscosity of less than 200 mPa.s.
