PURPOSE:To obtain a display body which has good operating properties and workability and can be used as a reflection type or a transmitting type, by a method wherein, a second heat-sensitive layer containing dye and pigment melted or sublimated by heat is overlapped on a first heat-sensitive layer changing from a white-opaque state to a transparent state by heat, and the selected part of both layers are heated at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A heat-sensitive film A coated with a first heat-sensitive layer 1 on a substrate 2 is opposedly overlapped, pressurized, and brought into close contact with a thermal transfer sheet B coated with hot melt or heat-sublimating dye and pigment as a second heat-sensitive layer 3 on a substrate 4. First, the first heat-sensitive layer 1 is made in a white-opaque state all over, thereafter being selectively heated according to an image. Then, a selectively heated part 12 of the first heat-sensitive layer 1 is made transparent, and an unheated part 11 remains white-opague unchanged. The dye and pigment of a selectively heated part 32 of the second heat-sensitive layer 3 is melted or sublimated to be transferred, and the dye and pigment of an unheated part 31 is not transferred and remains on the transfer sheet B. |
