PURPOSE:To effect the rapid and good processing having a high stability of the title material with good working surroundings by processing the sensitive material with a bleaching solution contg. a specified ferric complex salt and a processing solution having fixing ability contg. a specified chelating agent in this order. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material color-developed, is processed with the bleaching solution contg. the ferric complex salt shown by formula I, followed by processing the obtd. sensitive material with the processing solution which has the fixing ability and contains one or more kinds of chelating agents shown by formulas II-IV. In this case, the rapid and good bleach-processing with strong bleaching power is effected under the good surroundings which does not generate a sulfidization phenomenon and an ammonia order at the time of a fix-processing, and the following fix-processing is effected without forming a leuco dye, and the processing with the high stability for a long period can be carried out. In formula I, A1-A4 are each -COOM, -CH2OH or -PO2M1M2 group, M, M1 and M2 are each hydrogen atom., sodium, potassium or ammonium, X is 2-6 C a substd. or an unsubstd. alkyl group. In formulas II-IV, A and B are each a monovalent group or atom., M is hydrogen or an alkali atom., a group shown by formula V is an aromatic ring or a heterocyclic group which may be substd. |
