CONSTITUTION:A planographic printing plate having an intermediate layer of a water permeable film forming polymer between a silver halide emulsion layer and a physical surface developing nucleus layer as a surface layer is imagewise exposed for a short time with high sensitivity, developed by a silver complex salt diffusion transfer process and treated with a oxidizing agent for a silver and a lipophilic org. compd. A high quantity planographic printing plate for short-time exposure at high illuminance can be produced. This printing plate has high sensitivity, contrast, printing resistance and superior shelf stability and causes not ground stain.
