SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIALS FOR COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY

A silver halide photosensitive material is disclosed for color photography which comprises a novel phenol type cyan coupler having the formula: wherein X<1> is -CN and X<2>, Y, Z and n have specific values. The cyan coupler mentioned above is a novel cyan dye image-forming coupler and the photosensitive material containing the same according to the present invention has removed the various drawbacks in the prior art.
