<p>A device for attaching a scaffolding bracket to a frame member such as a rafter comprises two flanges adapted to be disposed one on each side of the frame member. Fixing means are adapted to fasten the flanges to the frame member and attachment means are associated with the flanges to enable a scaffolding bracket to be coupled to them. The fixing means comprise two grooved rollers and a common clamping spindle member on which the grooved rollers are engaged. The rollers lie one on each side of the frame member, against its side surfaces. A bearing member adapted to bear on the edge of the frame member is disposed between the flanges and interlocked with both of them in at least the direction transverse to the clamping spindle member. Each flange comprises, spaced from the bearing member, a keyhole slot whereby each may be engaged upon a respective one of the grooved rollers, with the edge of the keyhole slot engaged in the groove on the roller.</p> |
