PURPOSE:To improve the quality and operating efficiency by the automation, by assembling ten sheets of laver into one bundle, and making it possible to fold the bundle at a constant curvature of the folding part from the central part thereof. CONSTITUTION:A bundles 16 containing ten sheets of laver fed by a feed conveyer 17 in the direction of arrow crosses a lowering plate 6 for folding and raising the laver bundle 16 to push a limit switch 19 and is stopped by a stopper 18. An electric motor is started to raise the raising plate 6 for folding and raising the laver bandle 16 between slats 5 at the front part and the bundle 16 containing the ten sheets of the laver is folded double and held between the slats 5. After completing the one operation, a driving sprocket 3 is operated to move a chain 4' by two pitches. Thus, the slats 5 holding the folded laver bundle 16 are moved in the direction of arrow (a) for a given distance and stopped. The operations are repeated to fold the bundle 16 containing the ten sheets of laver evenly, and a pushing plate 7 is operated for the ten bundles 16 to push the bundles 16 from the slats 5. |
