PURPOSE:To convert original image data to aesthetic image data of a picture touch by making reference data different at every area and deriving the image data to be replaced. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1 inputs original image data through an image data I/O 26 and stores it in image memories 14-16. An edge detecting part 4 executes an extraction of an edge part, based on the original image data of the image memories 14-16. A brush pattern selecting part 8 and a brush pattern rotating part 9 output multivalued brush pattern data for replacing its part from the original image data of the edge part and reference data. In this case, the reference data is made different at every edge part. This brush pattern data is brought to picture drawing by a picture drawing part 10, and also, a texture image is synthesized by an image synthesizing part 12. |
