发明名称 MAGNETO-OPTICAL RECORDING ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the thickness over the entire part of a magnetic film and to decrease the power of laser beam light to be required for writing by forming a nonmagnetic material layer having a prescribed thickness between a recording and reproducing layer and auxiliary recording layer. CONSTITUTION:The nonmagnetic material layer which does not substantially solutionize with the constituting elements of the recording and reproducing layer 2 and the auxiliary recording layer 3 is formed to 3-10Angstrom thickness between these two layers of the magneto-optical recording element which is laminated with the recording and reproducing layer 2 having the axis of easy magnetization in the direction perpendicular to the film plane and the auxiliary recording layer so as to enable overwriting. The thickness of the auxiliary recording layer can be reduced by forming such nonmagnetic material layer. The thickness over the entire part of the magnetic material layer is thereby reduced and the power of the laser beam light is eventually decreased.
