PURPOSE:To compactly and easily assemble a device by concentrating assembly of each means on a cover side and arranging a toner replenishing part longitudinally and offsettingly in the bottom of a container. CONSTITUTION:A developer agitating means 81 which carries developer longitudinally and offsettingly while agitating it, a toner feeding means 100 which carries developer supplied to a toner replenishing part 67 toward a toner replenishing port 68, and a shutter means 200 which opens and closes the toner replenishing opening 68, and a toner exhaustion detecting means 90 are assembled in the container 61 from one side end of the opened container 61. The assembly of each means is concentrated and arranged on the side of the cover 70; therefore assemblying action can be easily performed. Since the toner replenishing part 67 is arranged longitudinally and offsettingly in the bottom of the container 61, the assemblying length of the toner carrying and supplying means 100 incorporated in the toner replenishing part 67 can be shortened; therefore the entire device can be made compact. |
