PURPOSE:To improve operability of the title machine by arranging an operating area for an original of a specific size separate from that for originals of other sizes on an operating panel or a console panel. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine is provided with one or plural paper housing means 21 and the operating panel 24, wherein an operating area 22 which gives instructions to copy an original of a specific size bigger than that of any other paper housed in the paper housing means 21 onto these paper by reducing its size, is arranged separate from the operating area 23 for originals of other sizes. Namely, two independent areas are provided on the operating panel 24: one is an area to handle an original of size A-2 and the other is a handle originals smaller in size than size A-3. Thus, operations such as setting rates of reduction and enlargement are performed separately, which prevents operational errors. |
