摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce noises of an element itself and to detect the stationary infrared rays of a stationary human body, etc., by connecting two infrared ray sensor elements which detect the infrared rays from an infrared-ray source such as the human body in a pair so that their polarities are opposite to each other. CONSTITUTION:The two infrared-ray sensors 12a and 12b are connected in a pair, in mutually opposite phase relation, and in the scanning direction of a sensor visual field. Thus, the elements 12a and 12b are connected having the opposite polarities, so even if noises are generated at the elements themselves almost at the same time owing to temperature variation, their composite output is reduced greatly and the device is prevented from malfunctioning. Further, the sensor visual fields of the elements 12a and 12b are scanned by a scanning device 15 and they are arranged successively in the scanning direction of the sensor visual field, so the infrared rays 19a and 19b from the stationary infrared rays of the stationary human body 18, etc., are incident on the elements 12a and 12b with a necessary time difference without fail and not incident at the same time unlike the noises of both elements 12a and 12b, so the composite output of both detection outputs of both elements increases and the high-accuracy detection is performed even when the quantity of incidence from the infrared-ray source is small.</p>
