PURPOSE:To process signal transmission between a rotary magnetic head and a fixed part with simple constitution by superposing a control signal for the operating state of the rotary magnetic head on a signal for a power source. CONSTITUTION:A recording signal SR is supplied to first or second rotary magnetic head selectively, and also, a switching control signal CONT1 to draw out a reproducing signal SP obtained from the first or second rotary magnetic head selectively is modulated to a power source PW1 at a fixed part side K1, and is transmitted from the fixed part side K1 to a rotary drum side K2 with the power source PW1, and is demodulated at the rotary drum side K2. Since the switching control signal CONT1 to the power source PW1 is superposed and outputted from a signal processing circuit at the fixed part side K1 to the rotary magnetic heads 3A and 3B, the transmission of the recording signal SR and the reproducing signal SP between the rotary magnetic head and the signal processing circuit at the fixed part side K1 can be performed by the simple constitution. In such a way, it is possible to reduce a transmission path. |
