PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body high in sensitivity by forming a photosensitive layer containing a specified styrene derivative on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer formed on the conductive substrate contains one of the styrene derivatives represented by formula I in which each of R<1>-R<3> is H, OH, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, allyloxy, aryloxy, halogen, allyl, aryl, or acylamino; each of R<4> and R<5> is H, optionally substituted alkyl, such phenyl, such naphthyl, or such aralkyl, independent of each other, or each may be alkylene necessary to combine with each other to form a piperidine or morpholine ring together with an N atom.; and (n) is 0 or 1, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be high in sensitivity. |
