PURPOSE:To switch a mode to a remote mode in a short time by reloading automatically data held in an external memory temporarily into a memory when switching the mode from a local mode to the remote mode. CONSTITUTION:When the processing of a diagnosis by the local mode is terminated, the mode is switched from the local mode to the remote mode by a mode switching processing part 29. At the same time, the font data held in a FDD 23 which is the external memory are reloaded through a floppy disk (FDD) driver 24. Thus, even when the font data are destroyed by the diagnostic processing of the local mode, the mode can be easily returned to the local mode in a short time. |
