PURPOSE:To make the output characteristics of both cylinders even and obtain a smooth engine characteristics by connecting a rear carburetor directly to an air cleaner arranged at the lower space of a seat, and connecting a front carburetor via an introduction duct and a surge tank. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner 17 is provided at a space B at the lower part of a seat 8. Front and rear carburetor 16a, 16b are connected on the upper side of a front cylinder head 12b and the rear side of a rear cylinder head 13b. The rear carburetor 16b is connected to the air cleaner 17 directly, and the front carburetor 16 is connected to the air cleaner 17 via an introduction duct 20 and a surge tank 21. Accordingly, at an intake toward a front cylinder unit 12, a bad effect due to the introduction duct 20 is canceled by the surge tank 21, and the substantial lengths of intake pipes becomes approximately equal, so the output characteristics of both cylinders can be made to be even and a smooth engine characteristics are obtained. |
