PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth voice by extracting information on a specific exponential function contained in a table at extraction intervals corresponding to the processing result of a speech processing part and determining execution parameters, and calculating the current value when the signal of a sound source is supplied to an acoustic tube model according to the parameters and generating a speech synthesis signal. CONSTITUTION:An interpolation processing part 6 extracts the exponential function information stored in a memory 5 at the extraction intervals corresponding to the phoneme time constant, pitch time constant, and energy time constant of each sectioned phoneme. Then the exponential function information is obtained by extending the exponent curve in the memory 5 according to the information extraction intervals in the time-base direction. The signal of the sound source is supplied to the acoustic tube equivalent circuit 8 according to the execution parameters and an arithmetic part 9 calculates the value of the current which flows at this time. Thus, respective parameters are interpolated by phonemes which are sectioned into a specific section, so the smooth voice having no break is obtained. |
