PURPOSE:To obtain the subject food valuable for human health with the active ingredients in the Dunaliella algae, esp. beta-carotene utilized without degradation, by coating, with sugar skin, raw tablets containing a specified amount of the Dunaliella algae-dried powder. CONSTITUTION:Dried powder of the Dunaliella algae such as Dunaliella boardawil is mixed with raw tablets in such weight ratio as to be 10-240mg of said powder based on 300mg of said raw tablets. Furthermore, 100mg of a mixed adsorption product prepared by mixing the above mixture with cyclodextrin is mixed with 3.50-4.50mg of a lubricant such as talc, 0.10-0.25mg of an antioxidant such as vitamin C, E, etc., and 35.5-40.6mg of a binder consisting of saccharides. Thence, the kneaded produce of the resultant mixture is granulated and the resultant granules are tableted. The resulting raw tablets are coated with a coating agent (sugar skin agent) containing light-shielded coloring matter to form a sugar skin, thus obtaining the objective food. Said cyclodextrin(CD) to be used is pref. alpha-, beta-, gamma-CD, polymeric CD or CD saccharide (powdered candy). |
