摘要

A sun roof for a motor vehicle, which in a centrally lying part of a roof of a vehicle body has an opening over whose length a sliding mechanism can be moved, comprises a front, hard panel, which is in operative connection with the sliding mechanism and can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the roof opening, a rear, hard panel, connected fixedly to the roof at the rear side of the roof opening, a folding roof, which is connected at its opposite ends to the front and rear hard panels and is changeable in length in its longitudinal direction, and a decorative guide frame, which is mounted fixedly at the rear end of the roof and together with the front and rear hard panels delimits a space for holding the folding roof when it is in its shortened state.
