摘要 PURPOSE: To obviate the occurrence of an inclination of the major axis of a fanning-out pattern and to make operation easier by making the spray fanning-out degree of a coating material adjustable regardable of the rotation of an air cap. CONSTITUTION: This mechanism is provided with a housing 10, the annular air cap 14 coaxially having a central air ejection opening 26, a nozzle 24 having a coating material ejection orifice 30 for ejecting the coating material as a jet under pressure, a first passage 36 for pressurizing and supplying the coating material to the orifice 30, a second passage 72 for pressurizing and supplying air to the opening 26 in order to blow the coating material ejected out of the orifice 30 to a mist form and a third passage 104 communicated with the passage 72 so as to eject the air from an air ejection port 106 for fanning-out in order to control the fanning-out degree of the ejection. A valve device 66 adjustable from its full open state to its full close state adjusts the air stream from the passage 72 to the passage 104 and a manual controller MP disposed independently from the air cap 14 adjusts the position of the valve device 66.
