Method and the corresponding devices for guiding a laser beam by means of a flexible mirror surface

The laser beam is suitable for the energy-saving representation of data, items of information and images. The systems, which are commercially available, for deflecting laser beams are based on the deflection by means of 2 mirrors. The method presented in this invention needs only one mirror system for the deflection. This system is influenced by electrical/magnetic fields in such a manner that any pictures can be represented in each desired linear magnification (image scale, reproduction scale). Changing the pictures and the linear magnification is reduced to software changes. The mirror system receives the deflection information via a control/regulation unit which, if necessary, can be provided with its own intelligence. The deflection system presented is cost-advantageous in the production. In this way, multitudinous novel ranges of application open up for the laser in advertising, production, medical technology and to the protection of buildings, sites and objects, to name but a few.
