PURPOSE:To uniformize rotating amounts per each one pulse of normal and reverse rotations, to improve the constant rapidity of a rotating speed and to reduce its vibration by independently correcting an exciting signal at the times of normal and reverse rotations. CONSTITUTION:Whether an input pulse is normal or reverse rotation pulse is discriminated by a normal/reverse rotation discriminator 30. A ROM 14 has a normal rotation correction table 32A for correcting an exciting signal at the time of normally rotating a motor, and a reverse rotation correction table 32B for correcting the signal at the time of reversely rotating the motor. Thus, the fact that stationary angle characteristics of the normal and reverse rotations of a stepping motor 20 are different is noted, independent exciting signal correction is conducted according to the different correction tables for the normal and reverse rotations, thereby accurately driving the motor. |
