Magnetic resonance imaging method

A radio-frequency magnetic field is applied to a body to be examined, which lies in a static magnetic field and oscillates periodically. By means of suitable measures, this body delivers a nuclear magnetic resonance signal. This nuclear magnetic resonance signal is transformed into a signal in which a quiescent image component and an artefact component, generated as a result of the periodic oscillation, which are present in the nuclear magnetic resonance signal are mutually separated from each other. The artefact component is removed from this signal which is generated by transformation. There then follows a transformation of the signal freed from the artefact component, inverse to the above-described transformation, in order to obtain an artefact-free reconstruction image. <IMAGE>
