PURPOSE:To steadily supply main steam by varying the amount of excess steam in connection with the output power of a fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:The amount of excess steam corresponding to the output of a fuel cell 3 is calculated with a function generator 20, and the opening of a flow rate control valve 8a is automatically controlled so as to make excess steam to flow with a flow rate controller 19. The total steam amount Q0 generated from a steam separator 1 is constant and the sum of main steam amount Q1W and excess steam amount Q2W is the total steam amount generated, and the main steam amount is therefore fixed in connection with the output of the fuel cell 3. The excess steam amount is automatically fixed in connection with the output of the cell 3. If the excess steam amount is calculated and a control valve 8a is operated in connection with the output of the cell 3 to control the excess steam amount, the pressure variation within the steam separator 1 caused by excess or shortage of main steam extraction amount and excess steam extraction amount is eliminated. |
