PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient corrosion resistance and the adhesiveness about equal to the adhesiveness to the skin which apatite ceramics possesses by grinding glass contg. CaO, P2O5, SiO2, Al2O3, and ZrO2 at specific weight % and depositing an apatite crystal after molding. CONSTITUTION:The crystallized glass has the compsn., at least >=90% of which consists of 40-55 CaO, 13-22 P2O5, 23-35 SiO2, 1-20 Al2O3, and 0-15 ZrO2 and which contains <=10 impurities. Said glass in which the apatite crystal is crystallized has high corrosion resistance. The apatite deposits from the glass to a lesser extent if the content of the CaO is <=40%. The glass has the higher tendency to lose its transparency and the glass is hardly formed if the content thereof is >=55%. The melting temp. of the glass is too high if the content of the SiO2 is >=35%. The vitrification hardly arises if the content thereof is <=23%. The deposition quantity of the apatite crystal to be deposited from the glass decreases if the content of the P2O5 is <=13%. The Ca decreases relatively and the main crystal of the apatite decreases if the content thereof is >=22%. Such decrease is undersirable. |
