A device is specified for securing electrical plug connections against becoming inadvertently detached, which device is suitable for use in dynamically loaded electrical appliances. The plug connections are arranged adjacent to a cover of the appliance housing, and said housing is provided with a stop element which is assigned to the plug connection and, when the cover is in the fitted state, prevents the detachable connecting element of the plug connection being displaced out of the fixed connecting element of said plug connection.
