PURPOSE:To enhance the accuracy in aligning an optical axis with an optical system by holding a light source lamp detachably at heat sinks so as to be fixed, and thereby concurrently arranging the heat sinks at positions where the optical axis of the lamp is aligned with the optical axis of the optical system. CONSTITUTION:The positions in arrangement are determined in such a way, that the light out-going direction of a light source lamp 8 is aligned with the optical axis of an optical system so that both No.2 heat sink 3 and No.1 heat sink 2 are fixed. Then, an upper heat sink 2a and an upper heat sink 3a are opened so as to let the lamp 8 be fit in the recess faces 2b1 and 3b1 of the sinks 2b and 3b in such a way that the rear end section of the anode side electrode 8a of a xenon lamp 8 is joined with the stepped section 10 in the recess face of the lower heat sink 2b. Then, the upper faces of the lower heat sinks 2b and 3b are joined with the lower faces of the upper sinks 2a and 3a so as to let the electrodes 8a and 8b of the lamp 8 be coupled with the recesses 2a1 and 3a1 of the upper sinks so that the lamp 8 is held at the top and the bottom for letting the lamp 8 be firmly fixed onto the sinks 2 and 3. |
