The invention relates to a housing system with equipment for mounting on supporting rails, especially for converter (transformer) housings or low-voltage switching devices, it being provided that each housing has an identically constructed connection pattern and an intermediate panel (board, plate), which is matched thereto and is connected to a mounting plate, the mounting plate having known connecting elements for mounting on supporting rails. A refinement of the invention provides that the connection pattern on the housing side has rear grips into which claws on the intermediate panel are arranged such that they engage, the intermediate panel for its part being connected in its central region to the mounting part, such that it can rotate.
