PURPOSE:To prevent stain of a material to be cut and to reduce gas consumption by providing an inert gas supplying device and nonflammable processing chamber cover to the part of the cutting plane of a laser beam and disposing a lifting frame at need to the inside of a cutting chamber. CONSTITUTION:The inert gas supplying device 1 having a laminated fabric 10 and a sponge metal 11, etc., is provided to the upper part of the laser beam cutting plane of a material 8 to be cut. The noninflammable processing chamber cover 4 forming the processing chamber is formed above said device and the lifting frame 13 is installed at need to the inside thereof. The frame 13 rises once, then descends to come into tight contact with the material 8 to be cut when said material 8 is carried into the device. The laser beam cutting is then executed while the gas supplying device 1 supplies the inert gas into the processing chamber. Since the combustion of the combustible gas generated at this time is completely prevented, the stain of the laser-cut product is prevented. Since the inert gas is surely sealed, the consumption thereof is reduced. |
