摘要 |
PURPOSE:To efficiently remove a small amount of NOx, by treating the NOx in a low concentration with a mixture of TiO2 and activated charcoal irradiated with artificial sunrays or sunrays of not less than 300nm. CONSTITUTION:The air containing NO and NO2 in a low concentration is passed through a mixture of TiO2 and activated charcoal, upon which artificial sunrays or sunrays of not less than 300nm are thereafter directed to thereby activate TiO2 and oxidize NOx, whereby the resulting nitric acid is retained by the activated charcoal and the NOx is removed. The nitric acid retained by the activated charcoal can be removed therefrom by washing the mixture of TiO2 and activated charcoal with water and this mixture can be reused after drying. |
