A fishing snood 15 comprises an elongate body part 20 of drawn synthetic plastics material having a longitudinal axis and, at one end of the body part, a pre-formed undrawn synthetic plastic material first attachment means for attaching a rigid member to the snood, said attachment means comprising a pre-formed transverse abutment part 24 which extends transversely to said longitudinal axis of the body part and is adapted to abut a transversely extending part 34 of the member to secure the member to the snood. The member may be a hook 14 or a swivel. Similar attachment means may be provided to connect other elements of a fishing tackle to a desired member. The snood is attached to a line by a transverse cylinder 40 having a retaining pips 42 serving with a flange 41 on the cylinder for retaining the eye 18 of a swivel. Alternatively the swivel connection to the line may be by attachment means similar to that for the hook. A snood having an eye to receive the bent-over part 15' of an eye of a hook is also disclosed.
