PURPOSE:To permit the manufacture and assembly in simple and inexpensive ways by integrally forming a drive side member and a plurality of clutch shoes which are joined with one side of the drive side member and are friction- engaged with a trailing side member, from a high specific gravity resin group composite material. CONSTITUTION:A pair of clutch shoes 2 and 3 are arranged, setting the edge part of the outside in the radial direction of each shoe oppositely to the inner peripheral surface of a clutch drum as a trailing side member. When a clutch boss member 1 is turned during use, the clutch shoes 2 and 3 are elastically deformed in the joint parts 20 and 21 with the clutch boss member 1 by a centrifugal force. Therefore, the clutch shoes are shifted outwardly in the radial direction and friction-engaged with the inner peripheral surface of the clutch drum, and transmits the turning moment of the clutch boss member 1 to the clutch drum. The clutch boss member 1 and the clutch shoes 2 and 3 are integrally made of the high specific gravity resin group composite material. Therefore, the number of parts necessary for the centrifugal clutch can be reduced. |
