PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the captioned device by installing in a distribution center and the like, the plural number of shift registers which are operated by a signal from a moving quantity detector acting as a shift clock and also a signal processing section where the informations about assorting destinations coming from an automatic reader are processed. CONSTITUTION:Informations about assorting destinations for baggages conveyed by means of an assorting carriage conveyor is read by means of an automatic reader 6, and signal for each of said informations is processed in an assorting destination signal processing section 9 of an assortment control section 7, then a selective signal is sent to, for example, a shift register 8b corresponding to an assorting destination and set to H. On the other hand, a clock signal is sent out from a moving quantity detector 5 correspondingly to movement of the conveyor and the shift register 8b shifts the set H in order according to said signal acting as a shift clock signal. Since the baggage reaches an assorting mechanism just when the H is sent out from the register 8b, said mechanism is put into operation by means of this output through a driver circuit 10b. Thus, neither provision of a detecting mechanism at the assorting point nor furnishing of the assorting destination information is required, therefore, the structure of the captioned device is simplified. |
