PURPOSE:To enable lamination of a print image on an indicative body to be performed simultaneously with application of the indicative body, by providing an adhesive layer on one side of a transparent sheet, and selectively transferring an ink layer onto the adhesive layer to form the print image. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive layer 4A of a transparent sheet 4 comprises a pressure sensitive adhesive 4b in micropores in a microporous layer 4a supported on one side of a transparent base 4B. The adhesive layer 4A is non-tacky in normal conditions, but when a pressure not lower than a predetermined value is exerted thereon by printing or the like, the pressure sensitive adhesive 4b exudes to the surface of the layer 4b, enabling the layer 4A to be adhered under pressure. An ink layer (r) of an ink ribbon R is selectively struck by a head 2 to transfer the ink layer (r) onto the adhesive layer 4A of the sheet 4, thereby forming a mirror image as a print image on the adhesive layer 4A. The sheet 4 provided with the print image is placed on a predetermined part of an article A such as a vessel, and the entire surface is pressed to cause the pressure sensitive adhesive 4b in the microporous layer 4a to exude to the surface of the layer, thereby adhering the sheet 4 to the article A. Thus, lamination of the print image can be performed simultaneously with application of the transparent sheet 4, through utilizing the sheet 4 itself. |
