PURPOSE:To allow a user to quickly select an operation even if the user can hardly determine which is more advantageous, copying or printing by providing a control means which compares the inputted number of copies with a prescribed value and instructs means to copy or print according to the result. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a copying means 4, a plate making means 5 making an original plate for printing, a printing means 6, a means inputting the number of reproduced images, and the control means which selects the copying means 4 or the printing means 6 in response to the input number of copies and operates the selected one. Therefore, when the user specifies the number of copies and instructs operation start, a copying mode, or a plate making/printing mode is automatically selected and executed. Thus, the efficiency of the selection is improved even when a user hardly judges which is advantageous, copying or printing. |
