PURPOSE:To uniform the thickness of a film which is formed after applying paint liquid to the surface of a supporting body by connecting a liquid level control use container to a container in which a paint liquid is contained, through a communicating tube, setting the liquid level of a paint liquid contained in the container to the same level as the level before the supporting body is immersed and forming a paint film on the surface of the supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A hollow liquid level controlling container 15 having the same cross-sectional area as that of a container 12 is provided so as to communicate with the container 12 in which a paint liquid 11 is contained, and the liquid level control use container 15 is interlocked and moved in the same direction as a supporting body 14. Therefore, height of the liquid level of the paint liquid 11 in the container 12 is always kept constant, and the height of the liquid level of the applying liquid 11 in the container 12 before the supporting body 14 is immersed can be kept high. In such a way, it does not occur that a difference is generated in speed of evaporation of a solvent in the paint film, and thickness of the paint film being formed can be made constant. |
