<p>A bag for storage of platelets comprising a polymer alloy consisting essentially of (a) 25 to 60 % by weight of poly(ethylene-butylene)-polystyrene block copolymer, (b) 20 to 40 % by weight of polypropylene, and (c) 5 to 35 % by weight of ethylene-acrylic acid ester copolymer, the segment of said polystyrene in the molecular chains of said polymer (a) having at least 2 oriented portions and the molecular chains of the polymers (a), (b) and (c) being entangled to form a network structure, and a multiple bag system comprising a donor bag, a transfer bag and tubes for connecting the donor bag with the transfer bag. The bag and the multiple bag system have excellent chemical stability and show excellent mechanical strength at high or low temperatures.</p> |
