PURPOSE:To prevent information from being sent to a maintenance center excessively by sending fault information in detail when a faulty part is not recognized in the process of fault analysis. CONSTITUTION:When a fault is generated in a logical unit 2, a fault information collection means 12 reads out internal information and edits it to summary fault information and detail fault information, and stores them in a storage means 11. A fault analysis means 13 performs analysis to find the faulty part from the fault information collected by the fault information collection means 12, and stores an analysis result in the storage means 11. An information control means 14 reads out the fault information including the result of the fault analysis stored in the storage means 11, and transmits also the detail fault information when the faulty part is unknown, and transmits the summary fault information and the result of the fault analysis via a transmission means 15 when the faulty part is known. In such a way, it is possible to remove defect to transmit the fault information not being required at the maintenance center wastefully even when the faulty part is known. |
