Disclosed herein is a process for alloying metals on organic supports comprising applying the solution of an organic acid amine salt of a second metal onto the inorganic supports already supported with a first metal; reducing the salt to the corresponding metal; and alloying the metals by heating. According to the present invention, the alloying of the metals can be performed at a relatively low temperature. Therefore, a highly active binary or ternary catalyst having a large surface area can be obtained.
