PURPOSE:To speed up the silver bleaching speed of the sensitive material, and to enable a rapid processing by incorporating a specified coupler capable of releasing a bleach accelerating agent in the sensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The specified coupler capable of releasing the bleach accelerating agent shown by formula I is incorporated in the sensitive material. In the formula, A is a coupler residual group, TIME is a timing group, (n) is 0-1, X is O or S atom, etc., B<1>-B<3> are each a (substd.) alkylene or arylene group, etc., (m) is 0-6, Y is hydroxyl or sulfo group, etc. The coupler can be incorporated in a silver halide emulsion layer, etc., and is exemplified by a compd. shown by formula II, etc. The sufficient promoting effect of desilverization of the sensitive material is displayed, even in the running state by incorporating the coupler in the sensitive material. |
