Display element 10 comprising a casing 14 provided with a chamber 12 filled with an opaque liquid, with a visualising surface 16, with an active element 24 mounted inside the said chamber so as to be able to move between a first position in which a surface 26 of the element 24 is applied against the said visualising surface, and a second position in which the said surface 26 of the element 24 is no longer in contact with the visualising surface 16, the other surface 25 being applied against a rear surface 15 of the chamber 12, set back from the visualising surface 16, drive means 22, 21 being provided to create a force of attraction and/or of repulsion between the said casing 14 and the said element 24 with a view to moving the said element from the said first or second position towards the other position, so that no external drive means is required to keep the said element in the said first or second position. <IMAGE> |
