PURPOSE:To perform always stable recording even though a recording medium is changed, by a method wherein an optimum peeling angle and electric energy to be applied to a thermal head are adjusted based on a class indication of the recording medium by an indication means. CONSTITUTION:When an operater establishes a printing concentration corresponding to a class of a recording sheet to be used for recording with a concentration volume 104, it is stored in a RAM 43 of a CPU 43 via an A/D converter 105. Then, a CPU 43 refers to a table 107 of a ROM 44, and establishes an established value of a corresponding peeling angle, i.e.. current application time to a motor 1 and an energy establishing value to a heating resistor of a thermal head 3. The CPU 43 outputs control information to a driver for the thermal head 111 and a peeling angle adjusting part 109, and adjusts a recording concentration. Thus, even though the recording sheet is changed, recording of a stable concentration can be always performed. |
