PURPOSE:To enable an operator to be prevented from being directly hit through the Meissner effect of a superconductor by energizing the coil provided inside a steering wheel, when the collision of an automobile is sensed while the operator wearing cloths made up of a superconductor is driving the automobile. CONSTITUTION:When an automobile is being driven by an operator 15 who wears superconductive cloths 11 made up of a superconductor, if an impact sensing switch 14 senses an impact so that it is turned ON, a current from a power supply 13 passes through a coil 12 incorporated inside a steering wheel, and according to the principe of electromagnetic induction, lines of magnetic force is caused in the coil 12. Further, in this case, although the operator 15 is liable to be moved forward by inertia, since the operator wears superconductive cloths 11, according to the Meissner effect of a superconductor, lines of magnetic force are caused in the direction negative to the lines of magnetic force from the coil 12 to prevent the forward movement of the body, thus the operator 15 can be protected from impact. |
