PURPOSE:To convey only necessary quantity into a second storing vessel and to facilitate change of casting powder by making capacity of powdery storing hopper more than capacity of a first storing vessel and the capacity of the first storing vessel as the same or less than capacity of a second storing vessel. CONSTITUTION:The casting powder is discharged from a discharging hole 11 in the powdery storing hopper 1 and carried to a spring feeder as conveying device 12. The conveying device 12 sends the casting powder to the first storing vessel 2, and when the casting powder stores in the first storing vessel 2 at the fixed quantity, the load cell 22 is worked to stop the conveying device 12. In case, a tundish car 5 comes to the prescribed position and signal, which the stored quantity is less than the normal quantity with a leveller 31 fitted on the cross section of the second storing vessel 3, is outputted, an automatic attaching/detaching joint 6 is connected. When the automatic attaching/detaching joint 6 is connected, the valve 21a in gas stream carrying device 21 is opened and the conveying of the casting powder 4 is started. At the time of conveying the casting powder in the first storing vessel 2 to the second storing vessel 3, the valve 21a of the gas stream carrying device 21 is closed. |
