<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a release material which excels in releasability and does not decrease the adhesiveness of an adhesive, by molding a composition comprising a polyolefin thermoplastic resin, a dimethylpolysiloxane and a polyfunctional compound and irradiating the molding with electron beams. CONSTITUTION:A composition is obtained by melt-mixing a polyolefin thermo plastic resin (A) of an MI of 0.01-200g/10min, comprising 20-90wt.% low- density PE of a density of 0.850-0.935g/cm<3> and 80-10wt.% olefin copolymer rubber of a Mooney viscosity of 5-300 with 0.1-30wt.% dimethylpolysiloxane (B) of a kinematic viscosity at 25 deg.C of 50-8X10<6>cS and 0.01-30wt.% polyfunctional compound (C) (e.g., divinylbenzene). This composition is extruded onto a polyolefin-laminated paper to form a film, which is irradiated with elec tron beams at a dose of 1-30 Mrad in an inert gas atmosphere, and optionally heat-treated for several sec to one week in air at a temperature <= the m.p. of component A.</p> |
