摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve adhesion of a thermally-sprayed film without preheating the face to be thermally sprayed by allowing the optical axis of a high energy density part converged with laser beam s to intersect the central axis of a gas flow which feeds a thermal spraying material and is vertical to the face to be thermally sprayed, so as to deviate the above-mentioned optical axis from the face to be thermally sprayed. CONSTITUTION:A thermally-sprayed film 8 is formed by feeding a thermal spraying material 5 to a high energy density part 10 in which laser beams 1 have been converged by a condenser lens 2 and melting it and spraying this melt on the face 7 to be thermally-sprayed with a gas flow 4 fed through a gas injection pipe 3. In the above-mentioned laser thermal spraying method, the central axis 6 of the gas flow 4 is held vertically to the face 7 to be thermally sprayed. Together therewith the optical axis of the high energy density part 10 is allowed to intersect the central axis 6 and deviate from the face 7 to be thermally sprayed and not to project thereon. Thereby the thermal spraying material 5 is struck on the ordinary-temp. face 7 to be thermally sprayed as the high-temp. molten particles and press-stuck thereon and a fixed thermally- sprayed film 8 free from a compd. and alloy, etc., is formed. |
