<p>PURPOSE:To improve dehumidification capacity with a simple system and to reduce running cost by performing heating and desorption of an adsorption tower with high-temp. impregnation gas, cooling and dehumidifying the humidified gas finished with desorption and thereafter performing adsorption and dehumidification of this dehumidified gas in the other adsorption tower. CONSTITUTION:Humidified feed gas pressurized and heated with a gas compressor 1 is introduced into an adsorption tower 4a already completed with adsorption of water to heat and desorb the water adsorbed to an adsorbent. The gas increased with moisture is cooled with a cooler 6 and condensate is discharged from a drain 7. The gas after this cooling and dehumidification is introduced into an adsorption tower 4b already completed with desorption and the moisture incorporated in the gas is furthermore adsorbed and dehydrated with the adsorbent. At this time, the inside of the adsorption tower 4b is cooled with the gas passed through the cooler 6 and the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent in the tower is made larger. The gas dehydrated by adsorption is recovered as dry gas or utilized for the other applications.</p> |
