PURPOSE:To facilitate the prevention of deterioration of a lubricating oil, by applying far-infrared radiation to the oil. CONSTITUTION:55-70wt.% (hereinafter simply '%') SiO2, 10-20% Al2O3, 3-10% Fe2O3, and 1-20% TiO2+MnO+CaO=MgO are mixed together, dehydrated, dried, milled, and fired at 300-1,200 deg.C, followed by pulverization. The obtd. powder is molded into a desired shape, and fired at 700-1,200 deg.C, thereby obtaining a far-infrared radiator. The radiator is immersed in a lubricating oil, and radiates a far-infrared radiation having a wavelength of 3-400mum. |
